How we handle your data.

Long Story is a small, human matchmaking service for foreigners living in Bangkok. This page explains, plainly, what happens to the answers you send us.

What we keep

Your application: your first name, age, contact details and the answers you give about how you live, what matters to you and what you are looking for. If you answer the optional question about faith or spirituality, we keep that answer too, only because you chose to give it.

Why we keep it

Only to find you an introduction and to contact you about it. A person reads your application. We never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and only tell someone about you, with your agreement, when we introduce you to each other.

Where it is stored

In a private spreadsheet that only the Long Story team can open.

How long

As long as you want to be introduced. Tell us you no longer want an introduction and we delete your application.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your answers at any time, and withdraw your consent, by replying to any email we send you. We act on it within thirty days, as Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act requires.
